When designing the new line of Super B Turbos, BD Diesel wanted to have a turbo charge that was designed for stock to slightly modified engines and provide the driver with improved airflow without losing any throttle response.  This is what BD Diesel wanted to deliver to drivers that use their truck for driving and towing, strong throttle response, improved airflow and the ability to support aftermarket performance modifications.

Featuring BorgWarner’s unique Extended Tip compressor wheel technology and low inertia, full-floating journal bearings, these turbos utilize a dual-volute turbine housing which utilizes low rpm exhaust pulses for improved turbine response, and works great with BD's pulse tuned exhaust manifold. The dual-action waste gate bleeds off turbine drive pressure from both volutes if excessive boost temperatures are experienced. BD's turbo kits also feature a heavy-duty waste gate actuator that prevents pre-mature opening caused by high exhaust turbo drive pressure. You can even fine-tune your BD/AirWerks turbo boost for higher boost if your fueling adjustments exceed 1200 F or barometric pressure changes if operating at higher altitudes.

All of BD’s Single Turbo Systems are designed for easy, bolt-in replacement, and include an heavy duty sprung waste gate and Turn Buckle, all necessary adapters or new down pipe, V-Band clamps and turbo feed/drain fittings.
