**NOTE: FWS-3003, FF-3003, FF3010, and FS-1001 have been superseded by FASS to these new numbers and will be shipping with this kit. They have much better ratings and are the same size. But, do not have the water drains. The old part number is no longer available. Please see additional info below from FASS!
New Filter Information
The following FASS filters FF-3003, FS-1001, FF-3010, and FS-1020 have been discontinued and are no longer available.
These filters are being replaced by our New PF3001 and XWS3002.
XWS3002 – Our New more efficient Extreme Water Separator is rated
@ 2 microns absolute. The reason our water separator no longer has a
drain is because the filter element itself traps the water.
PF3001 – Our New Particulate Filter is rated @ 144 microns. The 144 Micron Particulate Filter on the suction side will drastically reduce cavitation, increase flow properties, lower the sound output of the FASS System, and removes larger fuel particulates.
Important: The new XWS3002 MUST be used in conjunction with the PF3001, the new filters cannot be used in combination with the FF-3003/FF-3010 or
FS-1001/FS-1020.
When replacing the discontinued filters with the new XWS3002 and PF3001, the XWS3002 will now be placed on the pressure side of the pump and the PF3001 will be placed on the suction side. PLEASE SEE THE LOCATION DIAGRAM ON THE NEW FILTERS FOR PROPER FILTER PLACEMENT!
